What this wise woman's been up to these last few months
Issue date: 15/04/2024
It’s been a while since I emailed you and a number of you have asked me what I’m up to these days. So, I thought it would be a good idea to drop you a note.
As I write this, the rain is tapping softly on the roof. I like these kinds of showers, I call it succulent rain. The kind that doesn’t scourge but gives fruitful spring a boost and ensures that everything grows even faster the next time the sun comes out. It’s been a while since we had these kinds of showers. It seemed as if the sky could only produce heavy downpours. In Ireland, one storm after another hit the country, but the weather was rather fierce in the Netherlands as well. As if the earth was shouting: “Help! I can’t take it any more…”
And then – it’s almost like a reminder of how things can be as well – I come across yellow dead nettles, like I did last weekend. Tasty and sweet. A month earlier than normal. There’s a lot you can do with this less prickly sister of nettle. You’ll find a link to the nugget I wrote about yellow archangel further on in this email.
But back to the original reason for me writing, getting you up to speeds on what I’m doing these days. Well, I published another Dutch children’s book in early spring. And, probably more interesting to you, the English version of the Herbal Grimoire was released a while back!!! I know many of you have been waiting for this book patiently. Thank you so much, you can find more information via the link below. ❤🌿❤

And that is not all. I already wrote about it in my post about my plans for 2024: I have a number of other books planned. Ultimately, I want to create a series of books that will assist anyone who wants to improve their wellbeing. The first of those is about to go into print in Dutch and is called The Hagetisse’s Nutrition Book. I will tell you more about this book and the other things I am working on in a next newsletter. Because yes, there is more…
Until next time and have a succulent Monday!
Emma
